Centennial public building that, originally, had a U-shaped floor plan that, after a series of alterations, ended up becoming rectangular. It presides over one of the smaller sides of the poplar grove of the town, which gives it a referential character, dominating the perspective of this public space. The design of its facade is austere, opting to divide the front by means of pilasters, which vertically guide the space. On the axis the main access door is located under a vaulted balcony and, finishing in height with a single opening bell tower that rises over a modern coffer that is unaffiliated to the original project. At present, it houses the facilities of the Cultural Centre of the village, but in the past it hosted the prison of the former jurisdiction of Caldevergazo.
